How to reach LAL<\/h2>\n

The Pierre Lehmann Auditorium, Laboratoire de l’Acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur Lin\u00e9aire (LAL)<\/strong> is located on the Orsay campus of the Universit\u00e9 Paris-Sud (Paris-Sud 11 University), approximately 25 km south-west of Paris.<\/p>\n

The easiest way to reach the LAL from Paris is to take the RER B line from any RER B station in the centre of Paris (eg. Luxembourg) and then get off at the Orsay-Ville station<\/strong>. This trip takes about 35 minutes from the center of Paris; add about 10 minutes to walk between the station and the auditorium.<\/p>\n

From Paris by local transport:<\/h2>\n

The easiest way to reach the Orsay campus is by taking the RER B line<\/strong> to the Orsay-Ville<\/strong> station (35 minutes from Ch\u00e2telet, around 4\u20ac for a single ticket). During working hours, you will find a train from Paris in the direction Saint-R\u00e9my-l\u00e8s-Chevreuse<\/strong> every 12-15 minutes. You should plan around one hour door to door from your hotel in Paris to the campus. The main train stations in Paris (Gare du Nord, Gare de l’Est and Gare de Lyon) are connected to the Metro\/RER system going to Orsay-Ville<\/strong>. At the RER station, take the RER B going to Saint-R\u00e9my-l\u00e8s-Chevreuse<\/strong> (and not to Robinson!!), getting off at the station Orsay-Ville<\/strong>. Important:<\/strong> Please do not mistake the RER B station Orsay-Ville<\/strong> for the Paris metro station Mus\u00e9e d’Orsay<\/strong> (the famous museum). From Paris, you must buy a ticket specifically for Orsay-Ville<\/strong>. A Paris metro ticket is not sufficient!.<\/p>\n

From Charles de Gaulle (CDG) Airport:<\/h2>\n

There are two RER stations for the Charles de Gaulle (CDG)<\/strong> Airport:<\/p>\n
