DESCRIPTION:The combinatorics of some exclusion model in physics\nXavier Vi
 ennot\, LaBRI\, Université de Bordeaux\n The PASEP (partially asymmetric
  exclusion process) is a toy model in the physics of dynamical processes f
 ar from equilibrium (particles moving in a strip) and has been extensively
  studied by physicists. They gave explicit expressions for the stationary 
 probabilities of the associated Markov chain\, in relation with some ortho
 gonal polynomials and some quadratic algebras. More recently\, combinatori
 sts gave a combinatorial approach to this model. I will give an introducti
 on to this hot and active subject\, which is at the crossroad of physics\,
  probability\, algebra and combinatorics.
