  will describe some recent developments on random polymer models which hav
 e an underlying integrable structure which makes them exactly solvable. Th
 e continuum scaling limits of these models are related to the KPZ equation
  and have some remarkable properties. Parts of this talk will be based on 
 joint work with Ivan Corwin\, Timo Seppalainen\, Jon Warren and Nikos Zygo
 uras.
