DESCRIPTION:Scattering approach to Anderson localisation\nAlexander Ossipov
  (School of Mathematical Sciences\, University of Nottingham\, UK)\nI will
  introduce a new approach to Anderson localisation problem\, which is base
 d on the scattering formalism. The first part of the talk will  review a 
 derivation of some known results for the statistics of Wigner delay times 
 and wavefunction amplitudes in the one-dimensional Anderson  model. Then 
 I will explain how this method can be generalised to higher  dimensions. 
 In particular\, the density of the Wigner delay times will be  derived fo
 r the two-dimensional Anderson model.\n\n&nbsp\;
