DESCRIPTION:Probing mixed-state\, symmetry-resolved\, entanglement with ran

 --\n\nRecently\, protocols based on statistical correlations of randomized
  measurements have been introduced to probe entanglement in synthetic quan
 tum systems. This includes protocols to access Renyi entropies\, many-body
  state fidelities\, out-of-time-ordered correlators (OTOCs) and topologica
 l invariants\, etc. In this seminar\, I will first give a tutorial introdu
 ction to randomized measurements. Then\, I will present our protocol for d
 etecting and quantifying mixed-state entanglement in the framework of the 
 positive-partial-transpose condition (PPT). Finally\, I will discuss symme
 try-resolved entanglement in synthetic quantum systems\, and present a uni
 versal mechanism of purification and entanglement creation of many-body qu
 antum states. In all parts of my talk\, I will show experimental results o
 btained in the Innsbruck's trapped ion quantum simulator.
