DESCRIPTION:Hierachical rigidities of glassy systems\nHajime Yoshino\, Osak
 a University\nRecent progress of the replica theory for the hardsphere gla
 ss in large dimensional limit suggests an intriguing possibility of hierar
 chical energy landscape reminiscent of spin-glasses [1]. In this talk we a
 rgue that response of glasses to external shear would be very similar to t
 he response of spin-glasses to external magnetic field. First we show theo
 retically that  shear-modulus becomes hierarchical reflecting the hierarc
 hical structure of the glass order parameter [2]. Then we discuss our MD s
 imulations which reveal the anticipated difference between "field cooled" 
 (FC) and "zero field cooled" (ZFC) shear-modulus [3].  Finally we show th
 eoretical and numerical suggestions of negatively diverging non-linear she
 ar-modulus associated with the marginal stability of continuous replica sy
