DESCRIPTION:Statistical Physics out of equilibrium\nLeticia Cugliandolo  (
 LPTHE\, Sorbonne Université\, Paris)\n&nbsp\;\n\nEquilibrium statistical 
 physics provides a bridge between microscopic\ndynamics and macroscopic be
 havior. It explains the emergence of\nthermodynamic concepts such as tempe
 rature and pressure\, and accounts for\ncollective phenomena like phase tr
 ansitions. By contrast\, a comparable\nunderstanding of systems out of equ
 ilibrium remains elusive\, and is the\nfocus of intense research across ma
 ny areas of physics. In this talk\, I\nwill concentrate on a particular cl
 ass of nonequilibrium dynamics: those\nrealized in classical integrable sy
 stems. I will demonstrate how modest\nextensions of standard statistical p
 hysics tools can capture the long-term\nbehavior of these systems in vario
 us ways\, illustrating the results with a\nsimple model.
