DESCRIPTION:Superfluid thermodynamics of the unitary Fermi gas\n Luca Salas
 nich (Padua University)\n\n\nHybrid: onsite seminar + zoom.\n\n\nWe invest
 igate the superfluid thermodynamics of the unitary Fermi gas by introducin
 g a model based on the\nzero-temperature spectra of both bosonic collectiv
 e modes and fermionic single-particle excitations.\nWe calculate the Helmh
 oltz free energy and from it we obtain the entropy\, the internal energy a
 nd\nthe chemical potential as a function of the temperature. By using thes
 e quantities and the Landau's\nexpression for the superfluid density we de
 termine analytically the superfluid fraction\, the critical\ntemperature\,
  the first sound velocity and the second sound velocity. We compare recent
 \nexperimental results [Science 375\, 528 (2022)] of the superfluid unitar
 y Fermi gas near the critical\ntemperature with our model. We find very go
 od agreement between experimental data and our\ntheory for several quantit
 ies such as first sound\, second sound\, and superfluid fraction. We also\
 nshow that mode mixing between first and second sound occurs. Finally\, we
  characterize the\nresponse amplitude to a density perturbation: close to 
 the critical temperature both first and second\nsound can be excited throu
 gh a density perturbation\, whereas at lower temperatures only the first\n
 sound mode exhibits a significant response.
