 \, LPSC Grenoble\nThe presence of Cold Dark Matter in the universe has bee
 n evinced by a number of astrophysical experiments. Direct and indirect de
 tection experiments are looking for evidences of the presence of this elus
 ive new particle. In a completely complementary approach\, one can look fo
 r the production of such weakly interacting massive particles (WIMPs) at t
 he LHC\, either by looking for direct production of such WIMPs or by looki
 ng for supersymmetry\, an appealing theory beyond the Standard Model of pa
 rticles which provides a natural Cold Dark Matter candidate.
