SUMMARY:Séminaire du LPTMS: Marine Thiébaud - LPTMS\, salle 201\, 2ème
 étage\, Bât 100\, Campus d'Orsay - 11 Fév 14 11:00
DESCRIPTION:Some nonlinear effects in soft matter\nMarine Thiébaud\, Unive
rsité Joseph Fourier (Grenoble)\nI am going to present my PhD Work about
nonequilibrium properties of low surface tension interfaces. This analytic
al and numerical work is based on experimental study on colloidal fluid in
terfaces\, made by Derks et al [1]. I will focus on the last part of my wo
rk about moderate and large shear rates. A numerical study shows similarit
es between Burgers phenomenology and the studied model which made the mode
l a promising object of study. Then\, I am going to introduce some results
about the bidimensional rheological properties of vesicle suspension at f
ixed concentration\, the object of my post-doc work. After a few words on
the numerical method\, I am going to show the relationship between vesicle
  organisation and apparent viscosity.\n[1] Derks\, Aarts\, Bonn\, Lekkerke
