 r coupled\, driven diffusive systems can herald macroscopic phase separati
 on. We study the resulting ordered phases in a lattice model of light and 
 heavy particles sliding under gravity on a fluctuating surface in 1D or 2D
 .   We find strong phase separation with fluctuationless phases for part
 icles\, but a different organization for the landscape\, leading to intric
 ate steady state dynamics of interfaces between phases.
