DESCRIPTION:Critical behavior of 2D Ising model with long-range correlated 
 bond disorderRaoul Santachiara (LPTMS)Very recently\, we have obtained new
  numerical and analytical results on the 2D Ising model (and on its natura
 l extension\, the Potts model) with long-range correlated bond disorder. I
 n particular we have computed\, for the first time\, the corresponding mag
 netic exponent and the effects of the higher-moments of non-Gaussian disor
 der distribution on the thermal exponent. In this talk I will gently intro
 duce you to this (old) problem and to the theoretical approach used to tac
 kle it.
