DESCRIPTION:Statistical analysis of networks and biophysical systems of com
 plex architecture\nOlga Valba (LPTMS)\nComplex organization is found in ma
 ny biological systems. For example\, biopolymers could possess hierarchic 
 structure\, which provides their functional peculiarity. Artificially cons
 tructed biological networks are other common objects of statistical physic
 s with rich functional properties. The aim of this thesis is to develop so
 me methods for studying statistical systems of complex architecture with e
 ssential biological significance.\nThe first part addresses to the statist
 ical analysis of random biopolymers. Apart from the evolutionary context\,
  our study covers more general problems of planar topology appeared in des
 cription of various systems\, ranging from gauge theory to biophysics.\nIn
  the second part of this work we focus our investigation on statistical pr
 operties of artificial and real networks. The importance of obtained resul
 ts in applied biophysics is discussed. Also\, the formation of stable patt
 ers of motifs in random networks under selective evolution in context of c
 reation of islands of "superfamilies" is considered.
