DESCRIPTION:Waiting times for entropic fluctuations in non-equilibrium proc
 esses\nAbhishek Dhar (International centre for theoretical sciences\, ICTS
 \, Bangalore)\nNonequilibrium processes generate entropy. The total entrop
 y generated in a fixed  finite time interval is a fluctuating variable. A
   lot of recent work have looked at the probability of observing entropic
  fluctuations of different sizes in a fixed time interval. These distribut
 ions have been discussed in the context of fluctuation relations and large
  deviation functions. Here\, we  ask the question: how long does one have
  to wait to see an entropic fluctuation of a specified size ? We present s
 ome results on the waiting time distribution\,  in the context of some si
