The Cargese institute will provide buses from Ajaccio airport on Monday August 19. The departure time of the buses is expected to be around 15:30, after the arrival (15:00) of the flight AF 4456 (from Paris-Orly). The departure day is Saturday August 31. Buses to the airport will leave in the morning; the last bus will be around 10:00 a.m.
People arriving at different times/days are supposed to take care by their own of the connection from Ajaccio to Cargese. Cost of taxi is around 120 euro one way ( 160 euro at nights), few public buses are available, see http://www.corsicabus.org/
The institute will try to help in specific cases, but at this stage we cannot make definitive commitments.
Very important warning for an air transportation. Please choose only a flight arriving to the Ajaccio airport. Another airport Figari is very far away from Cargese; the transportation is possible only by taxi which is very expensive (around 300 euro) and lengthy.
Coming by car
The easiest way to reach Cargèse is via Ajaccio. Other itineraries are possible but please be aware of paucity of public transportation in Corsica.
Driving through Corsica is scenic but can take a long time.

- Calvi to Cargèse, 2h30
- Bastia to Cargèse, 3h30
- Corte to Cargèse, 3h
