{"id":26,"date":"2015-07-09T14:07:15","date_gmt":"2015-07-09T13:07:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lptms.u-psud.fr\/impact2016\/?page_id=26"},"modified":"2024-05-16T08:16:22","modified_gmt":"2024-05-16T06:16:22","slug":"venue-and-location","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.lptms.universite-paris-saclay.fr\/impact2024\/venue-and-location\/","title":{"rendered":"Venue and location"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The IMPACT-2024 will be organized in France, in Cargese, at the Institute of Scientific Studies (<a href=\"https:\/\/iesc.universita.corsica\/\">https:\/\/iesc.universita.corsica<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Very important : If you come by plane, please arrive only to Ajaccio airoport<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The institute was created in the 60\u2019s and is now organizing scientific meetings throughout the year. It is located on the west shore of Corsica, at the entrance of Carg\u00e8se, a small village of 800 inhabitants (50 km north of Ajaccio). Beaches are located in the vicinity of the Institute and on the opposite side of the village. Corsica is an island in the Mediterranean sea, 150 km south of the French coast and offering beautiful landscapes and historical landmarks.<\/p>\n<p>The Institute housing facilities on site include 26 double rooms, a studio, an apartment (for 2-4 persons) and a villa (for 2-6 persons). Two rooms are fully accessible to persons with reduced mobility.<\/p>\n<p>Participants are often lodged in the village of Carg\u00e8se, in studios to 4 bedrooms apartments. A 20 minutes walk is required to reach the Institute from the village, it is therefore necessary to provide proper footwear and a flashlight for night returns.<\/p>\n<p>The Institute provides breakfasts and lunches to all participants.\u00a0 Participants should\u00a0 take care for evening meals.<\/p>\n<p>P<strong>lease, notice,\u00a0 that IESC requires that all registrated participants pay for all lunches (14 euro\/lunch) during their stay, mandatory wherever they live<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The IMPACT-2024 will be organized in France, in Cargese, at the Institute of Scientific Studies (https:\/\/iesc.universita.corsica).
