Arriving by train or plane<\/h3>\n

To shorten their journey, we advise travelers to arrive into and leave from the Massy TGV train station or Orly airport<\/b> if the option is available. We will contact invited speakers to book their means of transportation.<\/p>\n

Public transportation to the campus<\/h3>\n

The most convenient way to access the conference site is through the RER B commuter train, which runs every 15 minutes on average. To get on the RER B from a train station or airport, follow the directions from the RATP website<\/a>. You may also download printable maps of the metro<\/a> and RER<\/a> networks. When boarding a RER from central Paris, make sure it is headed for Saint-R\u00e9my-l\u00e8s-Chevreuses, Orsay-Ville or Massy-Palaiseau<\/b> and not Robinson. From there you have two options:<\/p>\n

Option 1<\/em>. If you are up for a bucolic – if steep – 15-min walk to \u00c9cole Polytechnique, stop at Loz\u00e8re<\/b>. Roughly every second train stops in there (stops are displayed on the platform of your station of departure). The path up the hill and to the campus is outlined in this map<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Option 2<\/em>. If you’d rather take the bus up the hill, stop at Massy-Palaiseau<\/b> and use this map<\/a> to find the bus stop (the one you want is at the bottom left). From there take TransEssonne bus 91.06 ou 91.10. Get off at “Ecole Polytechnique Loz\u00e8re”.<\/p>\n

Once on campus<\/h3>\n

We will put up signs to direct you from the campus entrance of the main building to the conference venue. You may also follow this map<\/a> to the entrance of the building, and this one<\/a> from the entrance to the amphitheater.<\/p>\n
