DESCRIPTION:Topological insulating phase in the molecular compound $mathrm{
 Mo_3 S_7 (dmit)_3}$\nIan McCulloch (University of Queensland\, Australie)\
 nUsing the infinite-size density matrix renormalization group (iDMRG) appr
 oach\, we show that a Hubbard-like model on a triangular cluster\, represe
 ntative of the compound $mathrm{Mo_3 S_7 (dmit)_3}$\, is in the universall
 y class of the symmetry-protected topological 1D Haldane insulator\, despi
 te the presence of itinerant fermions which would normally destroy the sym
 metry protection. I will also illustrate a new technique\, to calculate cu
 mulant expansions of order parameters using iDMRG\, which gives detailed i
 nformation on quantum phase transitions and has many potential uses\, eg f
 ull-counting statistics through a quantum quench.
