DESCRIPTION:Driven-dissipative phyics: the relaxing virtues of a bath\nCami
 lle Aron (Princeton University)\nDespite being ubiquitous from nano to mac
 roscale\, far-from-equilibrium physics remains largely an uncharted territ
 ory in which the standard toolbox of equilibrium statistical mechanics is 
 a priori unavailable. Besides its fundamental relevance\, nonequilibrium p
 hysics can also be viewed as a resource to achieve a new type of control o
 ver matter. In this talk\, I will review recent developments in our unders
 tanding of driven-dissipative physics and illustrate how "bath engineering
 " offers a promising route to realize exotic many-body states in a nonequi
 librium fashion\, such as large-scale long-lived quantum entanglement or h
 igh-temperature superconductivity.
