Dear Colleagues,
We are looking for post-doctoral researchers to work on developing new
statistical mechanics methods to understand how the immune system
recognizes and responds to cancer, both spontaneously, and in the
context of therapies. The project will involve analytically deriving new
probabilistic analysis methods, and implementing them on in-house
produced data at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. The
datasets include experimental data as well as data from large patient
cohorts treated with immunotherapies and cancer vaccines, including data
from clinical trials of mRNA vaccines to treat cancer. The ideal
candidate should be motivated, curious, analytically and numerically
competent. The project is a collaboration between Vinod Balachandran and
Ben Greenbaum at MSKCC, and Thierry Mora and Aleksandra Walczak at the
Ecole Normale Superieure in Paris.
The position is open for a duration of up to 3 years. Please indicate
your interest before January 1st 2022.
Interested candidates should contact Benjamin Greenbaum
(greenbab@mskcc.org
list of publications, short paragraph about what they have worked on so
far and why they are interested in this project and three names of
people who we can contact for references.
We would be grateful if you could help me diffuse this message.
Thank you,
Vinod Balachandran, Ben Greenbaum, Thierry Mora and Aleksandra Walczak
