Dear Colleagues, One postdoc position is available in my research group at Carnegie Mellon. I am looking for candidates with a strong background in theoretical modelling of biological systems, soft matter and/or statistical physics to work on problems at the interface of physics and biology. The ideal training is in statistical physics. The research will focus ontheoretical and computational modeling in the field of granular and activematter and stochastic thermodynamics, within the research project« Coarse-grained description for non-equilibrium systems and transportphenomena (CO-NEST) ». The position is for one year with automatic renewalfor a second year following satisfactory progress, starting before August2020. Interested
