The ENS-PSL QBio interdisciplinary initiative on Quantitative Biology
seeks candidates for a 2+1-year independent postdoctoral research
position (Qbio Junior Research Chair). The QBio initiative has the goal
of federating and structuring the long-standing multidisciplinary
tradition and strengths of ENS-PSL at the frontier of life sciences.
Several disciplines are involved, ranging from biology to
chemistry, cognitive and computational sciences, mathematics and physics.
The awardee will develop her or his independent research program. The
position can start anytime between January 2022 and October 2022. It is
open to all researchers holding a PhD at the time of starting the
position, in the broad area of theoretical quantitative biological and
life sciences. All areas of life sciences studied in ENS departments and
PSL institutions affiliated to the initiative on Quantitative Life
Sciences (Qlife) are covered by the call. Applications that highlight
how researchers can interact and foster collaborations between existing
ENS departments and/or PSL quantitative biology groups will
be appreciated. The position includes an internationally competitive salary.
