Dear colleague,
I would greatly appreciate if you could pass this information to anybody that might be interested. Apologies in advance for any cross-posting.
I am currently offering two postdoctoral positions to work in my research group in the fields of complex systems and complex networks. The positions are located at the Department of Physics of Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya (UPC), Barcelona, Spain.
The possible topics of research for the positions are the following:
– Dynamical transitions in reaction-diffusion processes on complex networks
– Dynamical processes in non-Markovian temporal networks
– Topological and temporal fluctuations in networks
– Cooperative phenomena in social and ecological systems
The expected tasks to perform will involve the application of statistical mechanics and stochastic processes methods, as well as numerical simulations.
Candidates are expected to have a completed PhD. Strong theoretical and /or programming skills will be valued.

The two positions offered are for 1 and 2 years, respectively, with the standard postdoc salary at Spanish Universities. Deadline for application is 15th of December 2018. The selected candidates are expected to start in the positions during the first term of 2019.
