Critical behavior of 2D Ising model with long-range correlated bond disorder
Raoul Santachiara (LPTMS)
Very recently, we have obtained new numerical and analytical results on the 2D Ising model (and on its natural extension, the Potts model) with long-range correlated bond disorder. In particular we have computed, for the first time, the corresponding magnetic exponent and the effects of the higher-moments of non-Gaussian disorder distribution on the thermal exponent. In this talk I will gently introduce you to this (old) problem and to the theoretical approach used to tackle it.
