5th April 2022 : Two fellowship positions in the Brandeis University MRSEC

Dear All,

I apologize for the mass email. We have two Fellowship openings within
the Brandeis MRSEC and a recently funded DOE project.

(1) A postdoctoral fellowship to apply computational modeling and
data-driven approaches to understand and control recently developed
active matter systems. This is a collaboration involving the groups of
Michael Hagan, Aparna Baskaran, Pengyu Hong, Zvonimir Dogic, Seth
Fraden, and Guillaume Duclos.

(2) A Research Computing Fellowship to support and mentor computational
research being performed in the MRSEC. This position is designed for a
researcher who is looking to stay connected to scientific research while
preparing for a career in scientific computation or information
technology. The Research Computing Fellow will work with computational,
theoretical, and experimental research labs in the Brandeis MRSEC to
enable, advance, and support scientific computing efforts.  The position
will include on-the-job training for HPC cluster administration.

*To apply:* Please email MRSECpostdoc@brandeis.edu a CV, a list of 3
references, a brief description of your previous research, experience
with computational research, and (if any) systems administration
experience. *Please include ‘Research Computing Fellow’ or ‘Active
Matter Postdoctoral Fellow’ in the email subject line* depending on
which position you are interested in.

Please see the attached document for more details, and please forward to
anyone whom you think might be interested.

Warmest Regards,

Michael Hagan and Aparna Baskaran
